Bayern Munich and South Korea defender Kim Min-jae is set to be out for around two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury.

Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany has revealed that Kim Min-jae will be out for around two weeks after the 28-year-old centre-back suffered a hamstring injury.

‘We have to make sure we don’t give him เว็บพนันออนไลน์ UFABET สมัครง่าย โปรโมชั่นมากมาย too much time to play, hopefully it’s not too much of a concern,’ Kompany said of Kim Min-jae ahead of Saturday’s trip to Union Berlin.

Meanwhile, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl said Kim Min-jae’s injury does not require surgery and the South Korean centre-back is expect to recover in time for the Champions League quarter-final against Inter Milan on April 8 and 16.

Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer and Aleksandar Pavlovic are still struggling with injuries and illness respectively and will not be involve in the trip to Union Berlin, as is Portuguese midfielder Joao Palhinha, who is suspend.

Kompany is reportedly choose Eric Dier, who has left out of Thomas Tuchel’s England squad, to start alongside Dayot Upamecano on Saturday.

There is good reason to wonder if Kim’s break was strategically plan to exempt him from national team duty. It does fall at a very opportune time, with Bayern only one game away from the international break, and his supposed return in time for the big games in April only adds fuel to the fire. One can only hope that Hong doesn’t do the unthinkable and calls Kim up anyway, but recent reports have suggested that the Korean Football Association will only make a final decision depending on an official announcement from the club, as if Kompany’s words were not enough. This writer personally would not put anything past Hong and the federation, whose integrity levels are so low that they’d win any limbo contest.
