Fulham boss Marco Silva believes his side’s rivals Tottenham Hotspur can take confidence from their Europa League win when they visit Craven Cottage on Sunday.

Spurs kept their hopes of European success alive with a 3-2 aggregate win over Alkmaar to reach the quarter-finals on Thursday night.

Last weekend, Spurs picked up the pace late เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง in the second half and came from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Bournemouth in the Premier League.

“It was a difficult first half on Sunday, but the second half was a good reaction,” Silva said.

“Then (in the Europa League) they turned the tables on the first leg defeat and went through to the next round.”

“And you know when you get to a major tournament and you get to the final, you know it gives you confidence.”

“I don’t need to say, they know that the last two or three months they have not been good, but we all know why, and of course if they have a lot of injuries, it will be more difficult to deal with such situations.”

Tottenham beat AZ Alkmaar 3-1 in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie on Thursday, keeping Ange Postecoglou’s hopes of second-season silverware alive.

They are 13th in the Premier League table, eight points adrift of the top half.

After recovering several injured players, Postecoglou believes Spurs now look more like themselves, saying: “That’s coincided with a couple of significant things.

“One is getting some players back and also the ability to rotate and keep the team fresh. We’re getting our good ball players on the ball and looking sharp in the final third.

“Those things help us play the football we want to play and hopefully we can do it more consistently now.”
